Resolve Wildlife, EarthRanger's deployment partner in southern Africa, is bringing together protected area managers and data leads for an applied, management-focused EarthRanger workshop. Delivered in partnership with EarthRanger under the SMART-EarthRanger Conservation Alliance (SERCA).
Why?
The aim is simple: move your team beyond “dots on a map” and put the data you already collect to work for adaptive management, donor reporting and stronger decision-making at management level.

Agenda
Monday — Arrival & welcome supper - 26 Oct
Arrive through the afternoon/evening, register, and get your Resolve Wildlife Reserve ER instance set up ahead of Day 1.
Tuesday — Day 1: Foundations - 27 Oct
Field data capture with ER Mobile, the full data-to-decisions pipeline, CMORE–EarthRanger integration and Ecoscope workflows, and how to link it all to your MEL framework. We will end the day with a game drive and keynote speaker during diner.
Wednesday — Day 2: Horizons & Practice - 28 Oct
A look at the SERCA roadmap and emerging technology, data visualisation dashboards, case studies and good practice from sites across the region, and a field visit to the Lapalala Operations Center.
Thursday — Day 3: Skill Development - 29 Oct
Hands-on, technical sessions on ER Admin including permission settings, analyzers and alerts, the new Event Type Builder (v2), and Ecoscope downloader workflow set-up. A separate management track for reserve managers for strategic discussions, MEL frameworks and customised systems to optimize your operations.
Friday — Departure - 30 Oct
Breakfast and travel home, with facilitators on standby for any final questions.
Cost
The participant fee is R7500 per person (VAT inclusive), which covers your accommodation and all conference costs (venue, facilitation, meals and materials) for the duration of the workshop. Travel to and from the venue is not included.
