As an affordable location for a family break, Thaba Meetse is home to a diverse ecosystem that encourages a wide range of animal and bird life. Species include Impala, Kudu, Red Hartebees, Blue wildebeest, Zebra, Waterbuck, Blesbuck, Giraffe and Eland to name but a few. Smaller animals like Cerval, Caracal, Duiker and Springhare can also be spotted. At night you can hear the call of jackal and spot bushbabys all around you.
Accommodation is in 9 chalets nestled between trees and lawns and each provide rustic yet comfortable sleeping arrangements. Each chalet has 1 double bed, 2 single beds, a bathroom, toilet and shower; and all units are close to the communal Lapa and swimming pool.
Four of the chalets are fully equipped self catering units, the remaining 5 units make use of the community kitchen situated in the Lapa.
